Review by Antonio Galloni
Wine Advocate # 198 (Dec 2011)
Rating: 93
Drink 2012 - 2021
The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is made mostly from purchased fruit. It is a big wine, with notable intensity and tannin. Dark red cherries, plums, mint, flowers and minerals wrap around the intense finish, leaving attractive traces of smoke, iron and tar. The 2009 is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2021. Aaron Pott is the winemaker.
