The 2009 Bello Family Vineyards Marsanne has a nose of melon, honeysuckle and orange blossom, wet stone, with apricot and pear. The attack is intensely fruity and mid palate is rich with a core of intense fruit, balanced acidity and surprising minerality. The finish is long with lingering melon and apricot.
The St. Helena Star awarded the Bello Family Vineyards 2009 Marssane 1st place in its category for top new white wines.
A dream to work with this beautiful Southern Rone variety in a Napa Valley context. The vineyards altitude of about 1500 feet shows in a dazzling array of fruit and floral charachters in the nose. Winemaker: Aaron Pott
