Round attack with rich red fruits, black currant, toffee and cedar leading to tobacco and velvety tannins, that ease into a long finish of plum, cherry and chocolate.
The 2010 Vintage resembled more years that I experienced in Bordeaux than any Napa Valley vintage in recent memory. Budbreak was later than normal. The growing season was very cool. The cool streak was only broken by two short heat spikes above 100⁰F in August and September. 3.81 Inches of rain fell in October. This weather created classic wines of elegance.
