Black currant, cherry, green tobacco and cedar, soft entry and medium weight on the mid palette. Good finish with soft tannins and good integration.

The 2006 wines are wines of charm. Initially they had great richness in the barrel. This gave way and the wine thinned out somewhat. They are well balanced and elegant, showing a great deal of complexity. 2006 is a vintage for the future for those that like older wines.
